Fabric Project Ideas
Create personalized T-shirts, tote bags, pillow covers and other suitable fabric items. Use with heat-compatible cotton, polyester and cotton-blend fabrics. Check your fabric's care label and test compatibility before applying your full design.
Puff HTV Heat Press Settings
- Temperature: 150–155°C
- Pressing time: 10 seconds
These settings are taken from the Puff HTV section of the HTVSTD guide. Use the Celsius range shown above; the Fahrenheit and Celsius ranges printed in the guide do not exactly match. Do not substitute the guide's standard HTV setting of 140°C for 22 seconds.
Cutting Settings Reference
- For use with Cricut Explore machines: “Iron on +more,” as listed in the guide.
- For use with Cricut Maker machines: “Iron on +more,” as listed in the guide.
- For use with Silhouette Cameo machines: Heat Transfer Smooth; AutoBlade 1; Force 8; Speed 5; Passes 2.
Use these settings as a starting reference. Perform a small test cut and adjust as needed for your machine and design before cutting the full project.
Before You Press
Perform a small test press on a fabric sample before completing your project. The supplied guide does not specify pressing pressure, carrier peeling method or whether a second press is required. Follow any additional Puff HTV instructions supplied with your vinyl, or contact HTVSTD to confirm these details before application.
