Application & Cutting Reference
The HTVSTD general guide lists the following settings for “Most Heat Transfer Vinyl.” These are general reference settings, not confirmed instructions specifically for metallic or chrome HTV.
- Heat press temperature: 284°F / 140°C
- Pressing time: 22 seconds
- For use with Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker machines: “Iron-On + More,” as listed in the general guide.
- For use with Silhouette Cameo machines: Heat Transfer Smooth; AutoBlade 1; Force 8; Speed 5; Passes 2.
Before starting, confirm that your selected vinyl is compatible with your machine and fabric, and that these settings apply to your project. Follow any product-specific instructions supplied with your vinyl. Perform a small test cut and test press before completing your design.
The general guide does not specify pressing pressure or carrier peeling instructions. Contact HTVSTD for guidance before application if these details are not included with your product.
